My God and grandmother always told me the truth, and neither has ever let me down.
Omi (the German word for grandma) was born in 1914 and grew up in privilege. Her father was a wealthy German businessman. She recalls residing in a large mansion and being waited on by servants and a nanny. However, at age 15, sometime around 1929, all that changed. The Weimar German Republic experienced an economic collapse still discussed today, wherein they saw hyperinflation. As result, the German mark became nearly worthless. As Omi explained, it would require a wheelbarrow full of marks to purchase a single loaf of bread. She said this could happen again if our government was not careful.
I was about four years old then, and it did not make much sense. However, Omi's life changed, and I felt terrible for her regardless. Her family moved out of the big house, lost everything, and struggled to find enough food to survive. Omi always smiled when explaining these things to me, including instructions on how to pray. And although I listened intently, there was a time I did not share her belief in God. As I matured and learned science, I realized that throughout history, people made up gods to explain events or phenomena they did not understand. For example, when the Mayans could not understand a total solar eclipse, the sudden darkening of the sky during midday, they ascribed it to a God. When African villagers saw a plane for the first time, they explained it as the supernatural act of a deity.
Many different religions sprang up over centuries involving varied cultures, with each religion claiming they were the one true one, while every other was not. All of this caused me to doubt.
So, at the tender age of 12, I remained unsure. My mother took me to church, and I served as an acolyte. I went through the motions, but all the while, I doubted. However, by age 65, I found myself a born-again Christian and realized Omi was right. She was correct that hyperinflation could occur even in the great United States of America if our leaders made the wrong decisions and failed to learn from the past. Printing trillions of dollars out of thin air is a predictable recipe for hyperinflation, as Americans are beginning to experience. And as it turns out, she was correct about her faith in God because as scientists fail to learn from the past and begin to believe they are Gods, we are all tempting disaster.
Between the ages of 12 and 65, I experienced a college and medical school education. In addition, I witnessed many of my patient's lives and ultimate deaths. Some passed away from various cancers; others died suddenly from heart attacks, strokes, blood clots, or car accidents; still, others took their own lives. However, one thing became clear. I observed those who lived by a solid and sincere belief in God experienced greater health and happiness than the rest.
They seemed to have better luck beating their cancers, better odds dealing with their emphysema or diabetes, and better chances for survival in the battle with disease.
Whether God was an illusion did not matter as much as the person’s commitment to faith. Their religious lifestyle seemed to greatly benefit their health. Dr. Scott Saunders runs the Santa Barbara Integrative Medical Center, and routinely advises his patients to pray. Prayer induces the relaxation response and is highly therapeutic in reducing blood pressure and stress hormones. In my opinion, it is a much better practice than resorting to taking anti-anxiety medication such as alprazolam or tranquilizers. Prayer, if practiced faithfully and daily, can make a monumental difference in one's health, especially in reducing stress-related diseases.
Our United States Founding Fathers were not traditional Christians or atheists. Instead, they believed in the existence of a powerful and rational God who was present and active in human affairs. Hence our references to God in the Declaration of Independence, our Constitution, and our coinage.
Some might say it was tantamount to a miracle that a tiny group of poorly equipped settlers ultimately beat the greatest military force on earth in 1776, the British Empire. However, I say it was only by the grace and assistance of God that America won.
We, as a nation, cannot afford to abandon our belief in the Creator lest we wish to go the way of England in 1776. We need God's favor more than ever. And if there is anything almost as important as God's favor, it is that we live right. We as a people must conduct ourselves with honesty and integrity, both in our dealings with God and with other human beings. We cannot allow corporations and our government to lie and propagandize through the media.
We cannot allow our great nation to sell out to the interests of greedy corporations or the power-thirsty military-industrial complex.
When I discovered that my friend and colleague, Evan, had developed brain cancer, I prayed that God would give me the wisdom and strength to research and find a way to help him. He did, and my friend added repurposed drugs in addition to the standard treatments of radiation and chemotherapy. As a result, he remains alive today only by the grace of God.
While writing the repurposed drug and cancer book, I discovered I had been lied to by those who directed my medical education. Therefore, I wrote this in my dedication to Evan:
I was angry. Evan, my friend and colleague of 30 years, who was almost exactly my age, was diagnosed with glioblastoma. Several months prior, he was a healthy, successful professional with an adoring family. As I used my background as a trained physician and researched every stitch of up-to-date technology, I grew angry - angry at the deception, angry at the bureaucracy, and angry at the system.
I meant that the studies on the survival benefits of repurposed drugs are so clear, that all cancer patients must be told about potentially adding them. Yet virtually none are told, and the few who stumble across them like my friend Evan are the most likely to become long-term survivors.
But, as I was completing the book, I found that hydroxychloroquine was a likely candidate for preventing and treating the coronavirus based upon studies conducted by the CDC years earlier. When I witnessed Dr. Fauci’s immediate and summary dismissal of this safe and effective drug, I was reminded of the Warden in the film Shawshank Redemption summarily dismissing Andy Dufresne’s alibi witness. I could sense Fauci was lying just like Warden Norton.
But this deceit has spread, and now it involves not just the Pharmaceutical and Regulatory Agencies. We are dealing with the intentional destruction of the US Dollar. We are witnessing the genocide of our great people. We are witnessing the decline and potential fall of our great nation, the United States of America.
The collusion of Big Corporations and the Government is termed fascism. Although I am not a political science scholar, it is helpful to remember that fascism ultimately resulted in the overthrow of the dictator Benito Mussolini. Our last hope remains in the separation of powers of the United States Government. We as a people need to insist that Senators like Jim Jordan, Rand Paul, and Ron Johnson question those responsible for pursuing a fascist agenda. We as a people need to insist that states like Missouri, Tennessee and Florida stand up to authoritarian edicts issued by our Federal Government. We as a people need to demand that we defund and withdraw from the Totalitarian World Health Organization.
We must preserve our paper dollars and coins, including the phrase, “In God We Trust.” Oppose digital currency because it is not only godless, but it is a means of total surveillance, removal of human privacy rights, and an instrument of slavery.
And most importantly, we as a free people need to pray to God daily and ask for His help in preserving our US Constitution and its precious Bill of Rights, including Freedom of Speech, Assembly, Religion, and the Right to Bear Arms.
Amen! We need to diligently seek the ways to preserve our Nation, in that our Executive (with his handlers and enablers) and our Senate majority are beholden supporters of those who wish to rule all who survive their best efforts. Here in Maryland even a minimum support is highly unlikely. We do have Dr Andy Harris as a Delegate, but I'm not in his district. The only sources I've identified so far are:
