With all the recent world turmoil, a reader asked what I do for self-care - what I do to stay positive. Although I normally don’t discuss my personal life, I made an exception with this topic. It is essential for citizens to be resilient.
And now at this critical juncture in our civilization, we need a positive attitude and good mental health to succeed. We citizens must be in top shape to oppose some incredibly dark forces.
With the Israel attacks and the specter of World War it is far too easy to feel hopeless. Feeling disempowered and hopeless is not only unhealthy, but it plays into the Globalists’ hands.
Although we can’t always change what is happening in the world, we can change ourselves. We can optimize our attitudes, and this can dramatically impact our ability to cope with whatever challenges come our way.
Allow me to apologize in advance for my last couple of articles which may have brought some readers down. That wasn’t my intention. Informing was my goal. But in the process of informing, negative emotions can inevitably follow. Hence, I offer some antidotes to these.
These are the methods I personally practice.
Direct Sunlight
Resistive Exercise
Vitamin D
Overnight Fasting 16 Hours
No eating 4 hours before Bedtime
Prayer, Faith and Bible Reading
Music Therapy
Vitamin D, Resistive Exercise, and Sunlight. As Dr. Paul Marik has advised [personal communication] sunlight and Vitamin D are not only healthy as anti-cancer agents, but they also help battle and prevent depression. I prefer to combine exercise with sunlight which is easy to do in Northern California. In other areas, one might consider the use of UV sunlamps.
Resistive Exercise. My preference, after years of aerobic exercise, changed to resistive some 12 years ago as I describe in my 2019 Coffee Cure book. There were many reasons, but it takes me less time, and is easier to accomplish. I used to have a problem with overweight and insulin resistance, and the lifestyle changes I adopted completely eliminated them. I describe my journey in the book.
Overnight Fasting 16 Hours - And no eating 4 hours before Bedtime. This is one of the four major tenants of my Coffee Cure book, and it has become a fixture in my life.
